3x3 bit small, you shoud try draw a 3x3 box stand inside. Adding basket for shampoo or soap, your space really limited. Not impossible to take bath just small.

Your shower screen is cloths? or hard type with door? If door it got to open outward, but than open outward water may flow out.

thanks weikee. ya, i feel that it's quite small also, but the space available really limited..lol
I m thinking to have template glass shower screen. I read the previous posts & found out there are sliding door for shower screen as well? hmm.gif  hmm.gif

3ft, how you want to put in sliding? Mine 5+ft using sliding feel it tight fit. If you have baby, plan to have need to consider the baby bathtub to put inside.

Sometime if too small better don't divide it, let everything open, much better.

If door swing out, splashed water will flow out. Especially small shower area the splash will be a-lot.

Maybe I am outdated but I have not see any swing out door can preven water flowing out.

The gab is cover with rubber seal so no water will splash out. So far so good for my swing and sliding door.

I did not make a kerb for mine.
Instead I lowered the floor area of the shower instead.
*
Lower, and your door swing inside to the shower area right? If swing outside the water still can flow out from the bottom.

To prevent water from flowing out with a swing-out door you need a kerb.
*
And where the door locate? on the curb? or outside the curb? Both water will slip out on the bottom? Maybe you can share the design, I can't think one that the water won't come out with door swing outside?

All depends where is the drop in relation to the door. If the door sits inside the drop then less chance for water to go out (even with swing out door). If door is outside the drop then yes water can still flow out.
*
Drop as the curb? Or water drop? If the door is inside the shower area and inside the curb how to open outward?

The bottom of the door will be just above the kerb (can even put rubber seal), so the kerb will not obstruct the door to swing out.
*
If u put rubber seal will help fair bit, some water still drip down when open the door and rubber seal need to change frequent too. This was what being told to me during my hunt. Is logical too.

Hence I change to sliding door for one if my shower area due to space.

Now when I shower in both the toilet outside won't get a drip of water.

Yes, swing inside.
I wanted totally frameless but the guy told me best to have a piece of frame at the top.
Just firmed up the order an hour ago.
*
Mine don't have frame on top. If you search my home reno thread you see the toilet door and glass no frame.

You need frame maybe your door or the free standing glass not attached to the wall.

Yes the shower is 67" long and door is to the left.
Door will be 28" and swing in.
I'm now taking weikee pic of his shower screen to check with my contractor on the possibility of not using an iron bar at the top.
*
Is he giving you tempered glass or weaker glass?

If he put the top channel I don't see how it will strength the glass because the channel is not being supported. Unless is all the way to another wall.

I assumed the contractor was going to make it from wall to wall. If not, yeah the strength won't be there and the top bar is unnecessary.
*
Yes, and that will not look nice.

why do u say that?btw how to know if the installer is good onot?

can anyone enlighten me on d types of glass used too?i tot oni got 8mm and 10mm thickness for the shower screen glass, got other types around?
*
Maybe I rephrase to "His installer play too safe", Tempered glass are very strong, and if install properly it really no worry if it will fall. It break before it fall.
