cheating ppl one acer...ddr2 cheaper....wanna chaet those who dun know..though 1gb very geng...but slow one no use...

lately i see Asus and Acer love to use DDR2 for Nvidia GPU...

luckily they at least use DDR3 (read: not GDDR3) for Asus N81Vp... laugh.gif

S41 and S42 use GDDR3...

S57 not sure, might be DDR3... but still better than DDR2...

but..if it's really that win 7 starter edition limts the mltitasking option..it's goign to be really stupid...n i just saw a computer shop at my hometown selling original xp pro at RM512...wtf!

yup, Vista Starter does that exactly...

however, i believe netbooks should be able to handle the full fledge Win7 without much problems...

computers in our countried can handle normal Windows with no problems la...

Of course la...but just what the purpose for building a starter edition if it actually not beneficial at all, some starter edition can crash while using it..don't that will effect the consumers views for it?? hmm.gif

GDDR is even faster than DDR...

iirc, GDDR3 can reach abt 1.8-2GHz DDR easily... higher than that would need GDDR4

but GDDR5 is different... we all know that DDR transmits 2 pieces of data in 1 clock cycle, GDDR5, however, can tansmit 4 pieces...

either 4870, 4890 or 4870x2... only these 3 models use GDDR5...
