Im guessing if Ubuntu can support the GPU thn there should be software to enable HD on it as HD has been around long enuf for the linux world to come up with something

Full HD = 1080p
HD = 720p or 1080p with the right codec, u can use GeForce 8 or above and Radeon HD 2000 or above GPU to provide hardware acceleration when playing HD videos, instead of using the CPU... |

cause i wan teach my little sis to game.... all of us can game together.. lolx... and i want to let her use windows 7, so i was thinking the old rig should not be able to run windows 7 smoothly.....
erm... so how do i get HD movies to playback smoothly on my lappy? |
