they replaced a new unit for u or a new motherboard?

cooler master infinite no use. dun buy. dun believe, spend ur money and test urself.

may i know is there any hot key for this model tat can instantly switch off the monitor? (not whole laptop, monitor only)

I found that acer and dell got this setting but cant find it on CQ

did u install ramdisk? or software like use ram ask temporary hdd? this will cause the problem. u can go into safemode n use recovery. no need uninstall.

i suggest u to buy intel + ati/nvidia
the heat issue is very annoying. Even I bring to HP customer service, the staff told me they themselves also buy intel. I think they did know the amd give many problems.

btw, the price is attractive. is up to u. suitable for student. not suitable for working, like to use it to watch movie on bed, or open it 24 hours, hot hot hot

u try two laptop amd n intel on ur knee when watching movie, it is confirm tat amd is hotter. and amd processor keep blowing out hot wind. it is the fact that amd processor produce more heat.I had to buy a small table to watch movie on bed....aduh

I did said the amd laptop is more suitable for student bcoz it is cheaper.tats y is up to u to decide. I had made a few survey from computer technician(at lowyat, their shop is famous to repair laptop) before i buy amd laptop , they said that amd laptop canot last long compare to intel.they received many case for amd laptop. about 1 yer problem comes and suggest me to buy add on warranty for 3 years. so, +rm300, the amd laptop about Rm2200. maybe another rm500-700 can get intel + gc. if, budget is a problem, get amd laptop. far cheaper than intel.

after all. this is my advice. I using amd laptop now, the problem is the heat.not gaming ald give 50+degree...is very uncomfortble.but it is cheap.no choice.

for student. cq is more than enough. for game n other dong dong. hot n spoilt still have warranty. dun need scare.3 years warranty ma. u din go to use it, u waste the warranty package. play high end game for whole day also nvm as long as u dun care the heat. at first i keep worrying the heat, but now, let the temp become 100c also dun care anymore.nothing can do about it.

if u very care the heat, and waste money to buy rm100+ cooler...I can tell u is useless. I'm using cm infinite. still very hot at the back of the laptop. So, I just get a usb fan blowing it. Rm5 only.

and if u very beh tahan the heat, get intel. but intel +gc also very hot when playing game. but it is lower than amd+gc. I test on dell studio 15. one more different is the laptop design. CQ-40 dun have hole at the bottom. the air flow is not so good. how expensive of ur laptop cooler also no use.

dota is a very sien game now. 6.59d map alot of hack.orge can stun 100times. play until wan hit people. waiting for cod:mw2 hope this laptop can support
