wow a cq40 thread thats' still going strong . i bought 3 cq40 last year for my sis, wife and broinlaw. 2 of them went back to hp to change lcd in the first 3 months. but no problem since then... perhaps some heating up, which can be solved with a proper fan. 3 year warranty is doing this notebook some justice really. any problem simply send back to hp for repair
