if you update to new bios make sure after flash. go into bios menu and load optimized default setting. then save and exit. it help to prevent freezing issue... smile.gif

my cq40-401ax cannot turn on again... now the LED blink 4 times indicate there is a GPU problem... anyone got tips how to solved it? warranty finish already.... sad.gif

Got my laptop back. Ganabathi fixed my laptop... notworthy.gif thumbup.gif

Just upgrade my memory to 3GB ram ... laugh.gif

now i use k10stat to set max speed to 2ghz only. to reduce heat problem. sweat.gif

check how many times it blink at a time. here is your reference:
