this evening i accidently hit an estima while trying to avoid a car that suddenly come out from parking on the left. our car only kena a few scratches. i requested her to go to my uncle's workshop which she refused, so we decided to lodge a police report.

will they gantung my P license ?? if they gantung i need to retake right ?? when they will send u the gantung letter ?

depend to the police investigation la SiS..u hit the car don't mean it's u'r fault

erm...duno think so..la....but IF gantung not mistaken 1year cant drive and u can appeal rayuan to the Head of JPJ.....(sorry if im wrong)..but if u beat traffic light/speeding then u in trouble ... next time dont make report police..no matter how call ur parents first...or pay compensation to the other party...

You won't kena gantung. Only if the accident is a very severe one. Sometimes if they're in a good mood, they won't gantung but extend your probation (P) period.

I've been involved in accident for 2 times, got hit from the back ...One time was my fault, another time wasn't .. Made police report for both times.. License din kena gantung .. Keeping my fingers crossed.. Changing to CDL license soon

P license got points 1 la. if accident, most also minus points. won't minus all for sure. the worst case that minus all and gantung license is u're caught driving drunk.

but if few scratches also want report a bit stupid leh. wasting time only..

seriously i dam scared kena gantung just let my parents @#$^& dam depressed.. comment from u guys makes me feel better.. if gantung issit 1 year only ?? do i need to retake exam ?

i've called my uncle and friends which have experience.. and they asked me not to pay her 1st.. and it end up making a police report

If you collect 10 merit points under the JPJ kejara system your P license will be revoked. You need to wait 2 month before you re-apply for license.

I don't think your accident case is serious. You may get some merit point but so need to be careful in the future.

depends how big the accident was... just few scratches... i dun think will gantung. My fren bang a car when he is still in P, kinda bad but nothing serious also haven't gantung after deducted almost 10 points... if not mistaken only left 1 or 2 points.. hahahaha he need to bear with it for 1 and a half year if not mistaken...

I experienced something like you. Mine, they demerit 8 points and 300bucks summon. Thats all.

Wont kena gantung, just rm 300. But well, such a small case that fellow also want to report police lol....usually only big cases report police so can claim insurance.

If like you said few scratches only, also need to report police. Seriously if a minor accident happen, report police will just make a lot of trouble, really annoying and busy.

I remember my car rear bumper hit by a Kelisa and that owner want to report police. So I also report the police, reason is to claim that owner's insurance. I thought claim insurance will repair my car with FOC, end up I still need to pay RM400 to Government because I'm under 18 year old.

the driver of estima is dumbass.. u go make police report mean u gonna claim the insurance( u will need to pay and buy the report to claim and lose NCD) sommore both of u might get saman..

But if u make report and dun want claim insurance what is the point?

I just got summon bcoz not attached the 'L' stick on my skooter. What the consequences? Is my licenses be suspended? how much deduction of merit point? can anyone tell me?

ur license wont be effected ... if u lodge a police report, police sure will come out take pic de ... both side will need to pay for the report, then later on only will send saman to u ... if u wan a faster way, wait till the estima butt to go off, then u explain and talk to the officer maybe with some coffee drink then u r good to go without any trace ...

last time mine p license motor accident 1 time my fault,car accident 2 time my fault aso.but no problem untill now still can drive.

you need to pay within the time frame, but if after that no pay, just cannot renew roadtax only.. then go to court, rayuan a bit, make pity face, say its your fault, then i think the court will ask you pay about 100. keep the receipt bring to jpj when renew roadtax lor...
