So the update is not available with NSU.
How come update over NSU is far larger? I remember someone posted here, changed the product code and updated via NSU and the size was 133mb. OTA for v21 is only ~3.5mb. Added on April 29, 2009, 2:39 amI notice one thing(though may not be accurate for all. Before I was getting 61mb of ram after a reboot and closing all unnecessary apps. Now I'm getting 63.1mb. I had to do a reset because the accelerometer didn't seem to respond. I tilted it horizontally and the arientation of the screen refuses to change.

Try updating with Wifi/GPrs or whatever with your phone. Don't go through NSU.
Anyways, i can confrim that thre is more ram available after reboot than before. |

Also another thing in v21. Before when I connect the phone to my pc via USB in Mass Storage mode, getting into the gallery is impossible because it shows that the memory card is in use, plus the wallpaper I used from the memory card will be temporarily gone during the whole session. Now though I can.

Anyone knows the number for NCC here in KK, Sabah?
I've tried the one on Nokia's website, doesn't work. I want to know before I leave for there if they have any LCD in stock for the 5800. Else it would be a waste of time. |

Yeah. the lady says wait for them to call somewhere around this evening, or I can give them a call.

Just got my Tube back from NCC and it's working great!
 The earpiece is louder and so far, no erratic LCD behaviour. I did however do one silly mistake. I left the stand hanging on the phone instead of taking it with me(i forgot to take it out  ). Now it's lost. I guess I'll buy a new one. Who knows how much and where in KK? It's useful when listening to music with the loudspeakers, gives it better sound distribution. |

Crap, I thought I bricked my phone for a moment!
 The connection was lost, followed the instructions to restart and the update loading bar didn't budge for ages. But at last it did update properly.
