So confirmed, fade effect animation for screen orientation has been removed in v21.
Sad, I liked it. |

It died because of a flat battery, had it in the charger and tried to start it up. Now I can't access it! |

But can i access it via other means with anything at all while the phone is still hanging at the code screen? |

Yes, it didn't work.
If I somehow able to flash the phone, would I be able to look for my code? |

I got tired and started mucking around with emergency calls(and actually accidentally got the operator online as well
But I can see that the phone has loaded because when the phone shows code error, I can see the My Nokia registration in the back ground. I did the 3 button reset before. Heck I can even receive SMS. WTH is going on!! I just want my lock code back!! ANd one more thing, I can even access phone contents(albeit slowly). I have to deliberately put in a false code, get the code error message which gives me split second acess to the interface. This post has been edited by tunertoobe: May 15 2009, 01:21 PM |

How much would Nokia charge me if I choose to have my password reset at an NCC?
Are there any other place here in Sabah where I can do that? I'm giving up now!! |

well other than that, at what cost would NCC charge me if I were to go to them to reset it?
ALso would any phone repair shop do this? I don't think NCC opens today. This post has been edited by tunertoobe: May 16 2009, 11:55 AM |

QUOTE(dericncs @ May 18 2009, 12:50 AM) Anyone can help me izzit the setting of position method in the nokia map will affect the positioning in Garmin as well? I think the settings goes for the GPS device in general. As when i disable the 'network based' in the Nokia map, i found out that my Garmin gps keep on lost the satellite network...does it related each other? Nokia Maps and Garmin are onmly softwares to utilise the gps hardware. This post has been edited by tunertoobe: May 18 2009, 01:02 AM |

Oh yeah I'm gonna have my Tube reset today because i forgot my password(silly me
I'll look for a phone repair shop that can do it first and then i'll got to NCC as a last resort. NCC will ask a proof of purchase from me I think and a lot of work to prove it's mine. It'll be scary if NCC will do it with no questions and asked though. Added on May 18, 2009, 1:06 am QUOTE(7giap @ May 18 2009, 01:04 AM) 1 thing about black tube~~ Every TUbe no matter what colour should have everything.new black tube package will not come wit extra spare stylus and the nokia rubbery casing?? I wonder what they would ask for to reset my phone so that the lock code would return to default?
I'm guessing I'd have to pay a certain amount right? |

Oh good. Then I'll reverse my plan and go to NCC first to reset my phone.
Anyways, yes, v15 should be right about now. |
