How does computer power switch works with picture on how it works ?

Anyone take out and modified the power switch on the casing before ??

computer switch is just like normal momentary switch... u can search or googel for more information...

basicly it just touch and than disconnect... u can do that with wires too...

I got a CM casing which I am facing power switch problem.
I dare not open and fix it scare I don't how to mod and spoil it.Casing warranty is out.

Anyone got picture showing how does a power switch work ? or how do I need to mod it ?

why need to mod the switch. It is actually a short circuit, grounding a 5v to ground to kick start. Mod it before... so many information on the internet. just short the green wire with the black will do... maybe I mix up the colour.. ha ha.. please check again for assurance.

ermm... normally some spray of wd40 should fix it... if u wanna mod... just go electrical shop and buy momentary switch (the one after u press will come out again) should be ok.

Need to mod because my power switch got problem.Cannot start pc.
I can not find any information on the internet on the coolermater casing.I cannot start pc need to press 10 times to 20 times on off the switch

try the wd40 spry 1st... a kind of oil spray that removed the dirt... well to do that u have to open inside and take out the switch spray on it than press a few time.

Do you know how does a a switch star ? like our housing switch on off. ?

u meant the switch infornt of the cpu, to turn on the computer izit? press it one?

I mean the power switch.Open the front panel and mod the switch

and dont worry about casing warranty coz there aint any for it in the 1st place

momentary switches are simple "touch n go" kinda switches....



the best example of a momentary switch..... doorbell switch.

yes u can even use a doorbell switch to replace ur casing's switch.

I need to fix one of this my case has no power button....

use screw driver..

get the original switch cut off the wire than wire to the pin of the switch.

u must take the spoil one out... study that... than buy a new one...
