1st check you appliance able to support both 110V(usa) and 240V(malaysia), if only 110, then you need to buy a stepdown transformer from 240 to 110, can get it from any electric or electronic shop. Hope this help.

Step down transformer. Smallest one can support up to 50W.(around RM20++). Next bigger up to 100W (btwn RM70 to RM100). Of course you can find bigger, dearer. Just go to Jalan Pasar for more choices.

Remember to check your power consumption (wattage) and buy the correct one.

Know the maximum power rating that you will use, and look for a transformer that have 30-40% max power rating, with built in regulators. These things GENERALLY works best at 50~70% load.

Example, a 500W (Use RMS value for amplifiers or receivers). 500W x 130% = 650W.
