hi everyones.... i found my woods are growing algae again.. and sometime my SAE will be crazy of trying get out of the tank... keep swim upward with as fast as he can..

btw.. i reduce my 1ft tank only containing 9 fishes...

more water change will helps on algae ? by the way.. i need to top up water everyday due to using fan to cool down the temperature... am i still need to change water every week ? i only plant mosses and anubias..

i still wonder..
(i) is that HOB filter can put bacter ball ?
(ii) is that okay topping up water with branded filtered water ? like im topping up water with Amway filtered water.. so i dont need to use Anti-Chlorine ?
(iii) after absorbed small portions of water... i can straight put the pipe into the tank and fill up with pipe water... then only i add the anti-chlorine ?

Added on October 15, 2009, 9:50 pmhi do u seen rm10 for 1kg ADA soil ? normally ADA 3KG is rm38... i think should be consider cheap ? correct me if im wrong.. because im worry that is different type of soil from ADA..

DC cooling fan..
about chemistry i have no idea.. i dose some double black water.. liquid fertilizer.. or some aquarium salt if i saw somethings wrong with the fauna..

about the bacter ball... izzit that black colour with some layers one ? what else i need ? i think have to Buy and fill in the Bacteria right ?

alright... so what i need is just the brown ball ? and just leave it in filter or tank.. no problem on cleaning my filter ? because i will clean once a week.. and the bacter ball... no need use with the bacter powder ? thanks you...

i see.. i wll take a look at sunwaymas 88 later... but what about if my filter turned to very dirty ? just ignore it ?

about the eheim 2211 i think will get it after holiday works.. pressurized co2 too expensive and not really can affort..

clean with tap water...

i just bought it at 88 sunwaymas.. wow.. i saw lot of cockroaches.. because they are cleaning the fishes area... gelii.....

my SAE and BAEs are doing their job now... suck together at the glass wall..

planning to set a low tech tank.. just plant some mosses and anubias.. what liquid fertilizer is recommended guys ?

they might eat up ur plant somemore ?

yes... looking for low maintenance tank.. now the bacter ball became orange colour sand..
can i change water the next day i put the bacter ball ? or maybe delay to next week better ? because normally i will do it every saturday..

no la.. i mean do some little improvement for this currenty 1ft tank...

how long that the bacter ball can last ? maximum period ?

why needed to put bacter ball is constant time ? the bacteria will die or gone after a period ?

seem my algae problem solved by 3 algae eater and the bacteria... very hardworking black algae eater !

i see... any method to let my moss grow faster than stick to the wood ? because most of them are not likely to stick to the wood instead float on water..
