the left looks quite good imo! lets hope the right side the hairgrass grows out filling the space.. if u really rajin plan them 1by 1 xD then when it bushes up itll look reaaaaly good..

glosso? wah tried that looong time ago its a paaaaaaaaaaaaaaain to plant.. riccia easier.. gather them up in nets.. do alot of em.. then place em in the forground itll grow out bushy and nicely covers the foreground.. wait few weeks itll come out sioooooooook i tell you!

glosso need strong light la and root fertilizer...their can survive in my nano tank even for DIY yis CO2...

for the root fertilizer.. I believe they all work.. though personally I am either using the ADA Iron bottom or Multi bottom, Seachem rootTabs.. But i believe the JBL or the Azoo ones in the market work well as well!( if you're on budget.)

Since your tank is not 100% Aquasoil ( I believe.. or is it.. coz i think i read that you have some holland sand in the bottom?? correct me if im wrong.) It is advisable to do this..

as for 100% ADA aquaoil user.. you can go without these root fertilizers for 6months to 1 year at least..!

remember those riccia dun put too "tebal" ... if not the lower section of it will die due to not getting enuf light

I have riccia too in my tank and its growing quite lush (thanks Usermode). Only thing is, have not seen it pearling yet. Anyone knows what may be the reason?

I do have CO2 (DIY one) but not sure whether you can call it excessive but its pumping quite a lot IMO...how do I tell whether it is 'enough'?

so a bit hard to send to malacca

The polystyrene box is meant to insulate the box better. Having paper wrapped around the tupperware box is plainly not efficient enough..  Having the poly box and maybe some cold packs help! Correct me if I'm wrong.

Mmm...i'm a bichir pet lover with albino,seng,2xoranate + 2 yellow & 2 snow chillids...and one ropefish

My tank is one of those with the hard covers where only the front and back for flaps sections to open up.....lately i feel leaving it closed can make the temp go up....aprox to 30-33degrees....
when i leave it open slightly it goes at about 29degrees instead...so ya i think leaving the flaps open better for my fish la

so knowing bichirs and ropefish are read to be superb jumpers (escape artists) which they really are in the smaller aquariums...but they somehow dont jump from my 250l tank tho :S probly they like thats y lol...
..m..mmmm.....just wondering basically where to buy like nets to cover the top so i can leave the flaps open...

the nets i am looking for is the same ones which we use to catch fish...(green/black soft soft)....i went around the fish shops they said hardware shops....i went hardware shops they say only got the hard hard ones >.<"
