Need help here.
Coz one of my employer said need me to sign up a maybank/cimb account so that they can give me the payroll to me.
Because I am 17 I need to bring my parents which is very troublesome for me.Maybank is just opposite my working place but I need to bring my parents there right my parents are busy.Bank closes at afternoon.Me and my parents are only free at late evening.
Only free on Saturdays/Sundays.

Currently I am working mon-friday 8 to 5 and next month 4 days per week 8 to 8.
so I don't know whether me and my parents can arrange a time to sign up for me
But I did ask why not issue cheque she said she already send the details to the wtv department that is..

Anyway...yea I am 17 and I help signing up Maybank or CIMB .My preference would be Maybank. What's your preference for me?

Can I still sign up Maybank or CIMB account with terms and conditions BESIDES bringing my parents?

Just ask your company to write a letter for u saying u working with them and want to open account at the bank..
U can only open account at places near to your registered address in your IC.

Yeah, ask letter from company so only pay RM10 to open the account. Without letter, need RM250 as initial deposit.

But I not agree with Wacky-Angel about the place can open the account. What happen someone from Sarawak come work at Selangor... need to go back home to open an account ke...

Normally, when company give letter, in the letter will mention which branch can open the account. Normally same branch as for company account. I work at PJ before, but company give letter for Damansara Utama branch... PJ branch just 3 km away only... doh.gif

ATM to take the money out not for your company to pay you...

no ATM, just go to counter to withdraw your money every time gaji time....

Get the account first, ATM can be apply later.... how long until your 18 birthday... if not long then wait lor... if not grab your father to any bank branches later to make one... told him you pay him a dinner after that.....

imteen Account : earn a one-month Fixed Deposit (FD) ,Passbookless , Online access
imteen-i Account :Based on the principle of Mudharabah (profit sharing),Passbookless , Online access

* Original Identity Card (IC) or birth certificate of teenage applicant
* Parents' / Guardian's IC and other supporting documents to verify parentage or guardianship

guess the only difference is the interest....n for the interest,u need at least RM500 in ur account

I don't think that's true.
I've open a Maybank & Public Bank Account before, where the branch was no where near the registered address on my IC. smile.gif

TS, try to call Maybank or CIMB to ask them about the troubles you have,
perhaps they will guide you what you shall do.
Good luck!! =)
