I thought of getting a Sidewinder X8 mouse to replace my Death Adder. Does anyone tried both Razer/Microsoft mouse? The Razer seems to have poorer quality and all my friends using Razer mouse has the same opinion smile.gif

I have both mice u mentioned, after switching from DA to X8 so far so good.

As usual it takes sometime to get used to the new mouse. Athlo i kinda miss the rubberized top, but good thing its u wont worry dusts on it or worse.. when it start peeling... eww tongue.gif

what's the point anyway...x8 looks exactly like x5....i rather get x5 althought i got the money to buy x8...juz my opinion though~

lol.. first say.. "whats the point".. then later say "i got the money to buy x8".. lol ..doesn't make sense at all shakehead.gif

For your information, rather than looking at the pictures, if u don't chance to check the X8, at least read the reviews especially user reviews abt it before blindly post reply.

Especially the obvious differences its the wired/wireless feature, and the mouse physical shape are more ergonomics too, more suitable for human... lol

Even the first Sidewinder X its looks and feel different compared to X5.

Lol.. what a bold word to use.. nothing its impossible, if not theres would be no Warranty (or even better Lifetime Warranty, if they are so sure their QC its out of this world.. heh) or RMA department.. lol...

I have a question. I notice the X8 mouse feet worns off pretty fast on my Destructor pad. How do I fix this? Buy some teflon replacements myself?
*
Wah.. the mouse-feet quite thick.. so fast worn out?...

Btw, hows the other 2-pairs?.. oso worns out liaoz?...

Anyways, to be safe, i always use this Corepad Skatez on all my mousefeets http://www.corepad.com/index.php?pagina=artikel&id=26

At least some protection at the same time, it glides even more smoother on hard-surface pads.

Or even safer approach will be using Corepad Skatez and use soft-surface mats.
