1) Where shall I go to further my studies - UK, AUS, USA, Canada or China

I'm transferring to USA this fall.

2) How much is the living expenses there?

3) I had offers from 3 universities, namely University of Illinois, Minnesota and Purdue.
Maybe you can suggest to me which one should i pick? I'm doing Psychology major.

Living expenses, if your thrifty close to 20k USD a year can get by. If your average about 35k USD and if your eccentric well I dont really need to answer that. I believe alot of US universities allow foreign students to work on campus for side money or if you need you can easily find a chinese restaurant to pay cash daily for washing dishes or something of the sort. Its quite common there.

Before you transfer in, you should check with the university what type of foreign scholarships you can apply for. Every year there are many scholarships offered that many students never apply for. Even the smaller ones of 100-500 USD , its quite easy for people to say "oh its too small its not worth while", but remember its free money. Therefore applying for everyone that your eligible for, its a chance of lowering your expenses. I'm not sure if you need the money, but whenever there is free money ,i'm not one to say no.
