Don't need to ask for any news regarding recent up trend. They want to goreng, then go up, today got mood for abc stock, then shoot up, next day bored with abc stock, then change to xyz then xyz shoot up.

Every year it gives 50-100 cents pa, which in term of dividend yield is much more than FD rate. Some more price is stable, don't need to worry much, everyday sleep well, don't need to go through the 'stress test' like those goreng does recently.

After 10 years or so, all initial capital has been recouped, what left in the stock price is net gain already.

Don't look down on those dividend, it can be a powerful and significant for long term wise. You don't need the share price to move to make money, you make enough and more than FD rate through dividend, any move in share price is just a bonus.

Yup, recent goreng is no different big/small betting.

Bet the right stock to move, then congratulation earn big buck.
Bet the wrong stock, which stagnant, stuck and wait and hope and hope.

See wether you rotate rightly or market rotate you only.

Without any negative news over the weekend, we might see CI to cross 1000 mark.

Then after that, market will ask, what next? 1100? Economy really turning? Corporate will earn good money again?
If answer yes, then good strong footing
If answer no, market pull back, everyone get a wake up call.

There will be a point that when market surge and reach sometime, it will check back its fundamental. Can't continue goreng non-stop forever, but goreng definitely can last for month or even months due to momemtum and sentiment play.
