Well I've done something similar in PES2009. But I switched Malaysia's position with Thailand in order for the game to recognize Malaysia as a proper National team.
If I'm not mistaken the newly added teams in PES2010, via hex-edit(thru the current PES editors) are all not-recognizable in BAL/ML.

But kudos to you. Don't know how many people would like to seriously use the Malaysian National team tho. Not many will use them against the likes of Spain or England.

I usually use them just for a laugh. hehe
I remember using the Malaysian team based on 2007 Asia Cup, Hardi Jaafar had his stats all beefed up. Now that was funny.

yeah of coz ppl wont use Malaysia against Spain or other..but its just for fun..i've done something similar with pes2009 where i create Malaysia n played against my friend..its kinda fun becoz i managed to win against my fren who using portugal.. (well, of coz with lower n more realistic stats, no cheating or edit malaysian player to be superhuman )

actually many malaysian pes player request n demand for malaysia national team, especially after our historic gold medal in sea games..u can see all the comments in pesediting2008.blogspot each time there r new patch update, sure at least someone will request for malaysia to be added in the next patch update.

theres ppl who already made their own malaysian patch, including MALAYSIAN SUPER LEAGUE patch :

Guys, I've only started playing the game. Got the latest Konami patch and PESEdit.com v1.4 patch installed.

However, when I try to load my Master League save, I got the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime error. Can anyone help me with this? I download the runtime thingy but still no luck. Tried googling but it seems this error does not occur frequently.

Help would be very much appreciated.

Read the documentation or readme file. You'll require to run the ML or ML2 Switch once before firing up the game and then only proceed to creating game save. Only after you created the game save, you doesn't need to hit the switch again when starting up the game.

Ah, got it. Thanks! I didn't get what the switch file thingy is for at first. I can enjoy the game now.

Do you guys use any other additional patch other than PESEdit.com's patch? I'm kind of new to this whole modding thing

Currently I'm using Big Sonnie Patch V3.0 that compatible with DLC 1.3

I'm much happier with this patch than PESEdit 1.3. Probably personal preferences that matter

Could anyone advise me on how to change the keyboard button configuration for PES2010?

In your Program Files/Konami/Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 folder, there is a settings.exe

Run that and you'll notice configuration for keyboard and joypad buttons there

why i kept getting error when i try update using konami patch 1.03 it doesnt allow me to update
