QUOTE(ck.chunkeat @ Dec 17 2014, 05:40 PM) Hi, I'm currently torn between using maxis or celcom. basically i dont make much calls, so i just want some data plan. 1gb will do. I want to know how is the coverage between maxis and celcom? data wise and call wise. and also the coverage within klang valley and other states. Thanks. Maxis 3G coverage good at main town and main road area. Kampong in the middle of nowhere no 3G. To be suprise celcom 3G and digi 3G doing better at kampong place. Cheapest 1GB data is Digi 1MNP RM18 for 1GB.

QUOTE(lowya @ Feb 22 2015, 09:53 AM) Currently using Umobile Unlimited30 plan with 1.5GB, seems no enough data. So it's 30/1.5GB = RM20/GB with unlimited throttled speed. and Tunetalk 88sen/day for 50MB daily auto renew (downside after hit 50MB, next 50MB is RM2.5, etc), no way to check or stop if 50GB/day exceeded, can be very ex if exceed without knowing. so looking for another plan with lowest RM/GB, lower than RM20/GB. preferably <RM10/GB plan, anything like that out there? tmgo rm50 = 7gb, rm30 = 4gb umobile pakai buang new sim every month rm100 = 20gb all days yes fiz rm89 = 30gb official quota This post has been edited by fat16: Feb 22 2015, 11:37 PM

QUOTE(evilfish @ Jun 13 2016, 11:42 AM) Here's the reply from the seller: GPS +LBS +WIFI positioning Please advise which telco/ plan is suitable? Thank You. your seller not answer the questions. web platform means gps tracker online tracking website. mobile app means tracking using tracker mobile app. read the manual. have u see APN, GPRS and port setting ? for SMS mode, just use whichever telco have good coverage, long validity and cheap SMS rates. First thing first - disable voicemail. This post has been edited by fat16: Jun 14 2016, 12:04 AM

QUOTE(kroul2 @ Nov 24 2016, 02:28 AM) Guys, wanna know. How does postpaid works? The sign-up fee, is that a thing? What about advanced payment, etc? postpaid u have to sign some form said u do agree with plan T&C. Dont use bill still running every month not terminate itself like prepaid. To terminate need tell telco else your name goes to blacklist and CTOS for webe/p1/yes. Advanced payment depend of telco and plan. digi advanced payment use to offset first bill so first bill coming u pay nothing. Redone advanced payment use as deposit to cover monthly unpaid bill. Late payment line barred and some telco charge connection fee. Since u ask this question better just use prepaid. Piece of mind every month .
