mind explaining more about this? The thing is previously I got 1 prepaid simcard but now already expired. In order to revive this number I need to buy and convert to postpaid plan (read in maxis forum)

If RM10 just to activate the line that will be perfect bcoz i plan to MNP for another telco.

tq
*
Yeah, this one is only a supplementary plan, so you need a main line in order to qualify for this RM10. I think cheapest main line plan is RM28, talkmore I think smile.gif

why MNP to other telco? is maxis not good?

wanna ask about maxis postpaid...

if mainline is value plus 50...
& supp line is family plus 30...

free voice/video call 15 hours for each line (each line got its own 15hours) or it is total for both lines ??

how about mms between the main & supp line ?? free or not ?
*
Hey there. The free 15 hrs voice/video call is given to each line separately. If for example, the supp line uses up the 15 hours, then calls after that will be charged although the principal line still has balance hours of free voice/video calls. The free hours are not shared between both lines.

Hope this answers your ques smile.gif

can anyone recommend me a plan? i lightly use phone and sms but use whatsapp, twitter and etc significantly

If you don't mind prepaid you can go for #Hotlink cause they have free basic internet which can cover your whatsapp and twitter etc biggrin.gif.. you can then set 10 maxis/hotlink numbers as your Activ10 for quite cheap calling & texting rates.

Hi, could i get a recommendation? Im currently on exec 50 + mBasic RM38, i dont use much voice and data. I was thinking maxis or digi since they'er offering very attractive plans. Which is better? As long it have good coverage of the klang valley.
*
Hmmm Digi is famous for its prepaid... but Im more of a Maxis fan cause of its fast 4G connections laugh.gif
Roughly how much data would you need per month? I could recommend talkmore 28 (200 mins of calls & 100 sms to all networks) plus maybe 100mb of data for extra RM18?

if you need more info just check: https://new.maxis.com.my/en/personal/plans/...lans:talkmore28

Hi Sifus,

Wanna ask which postpaid plan is best value for data usage? I only use voice + data, and really little voice also. All chat done through skype.

You may want to try Maxis' SurfMore plan which specifically caters for data usage. There's optional add-ons if you wish to use voice call or SMS with the plan. https://new.maxis.com.my/en/personal/plans/...s/surfmore.html

Lol yeahhh it would be super awesome to have free data without having to top up. But oh well. At the end of the day we have to come back to reality. At least you get to call and sms with the money you top up with cool2.gif

Hi,

I heard that after mnp to maxis, is there a "locked to maxis for minimum period" before i can mnp out? Is there a restriction for umobile mnp as well?

Then sign up for Validity 365 for 1 year.

I think its reasonable that your line must be active to have free data. If your line not active how to give free data? rclxub.gif

My 2 sen…

Pros:
It really is unlimited talk and text for RM128 to all networks including fixed lines so you can talk for as long as you want and text as often as you like. The T&C only comes into play if you "abuse" the service.

When you data roam internationally, it's RM38 per day in 106 countries so tourist destinations are there la.

Data quota is decent at 2GB but not great.

Cons:
Data boost is not cheap at RM30 for 1GB! If you use a tablet and make calls occasionally using tablet I would still suggest the SurfMore plans.

Check it out here: www.maxis.com.my/maxisone

Hi,

Just a quick hijack.

Heard of Redone recently from my friends and family. Really wonder, in comparison of who in knowledge (of course) Maxis vs Redone.

Of what I've heard, Redone is in partnership with Celcom ,hence, Redone could be using the infrastructure of Celcom (which is reliable?).

Would be nice if I could know better smile.gif

Hi looking for a postpaid plan. Using digi 3gb/ month and pay as u use voice... using calls about 40/50 per month and bills come about 120/month. 2 years contract expiring this month and just wondering any better plans around for MNP?
as for data, uses about 2g/month.
no need good nationwide coverage as mostly in city.
