May i know when we change tyre, we can trade in our old type for some cash izzit? Or only still usable tyre or only some shop will accept? How much usually they will give rebate? And what is the reasonable production date for a new type? few months?

Get quote for Continental 195/55/R15 for RM190/pc is this price ok? Location PJ Taman Megah.

ur size is R14 not R15 la...
it is recommended to change ur tire to a more standard size such as 185/60 R14 or 185/65 R14...
Please go here for price list....

That is a bit too expensive if it it Comfort Contact-1... try to look for Hankook V12 at that price much better than that tire...
of u want comfort try Falken 912
Again... Please refer here for price list....
u get a lot of choice... for me a NO NO for CC-1 although i'm using 1 now...

for trade-in they will buy ur tire around RM30/pc only if it was usable... smile.gif if thread already very low they might not give you anything...

Thx for your reply, may i know the reason why CC1 a NO for you?
In term of durable or life span, which is better CC! or V12?

Dunno the shop have V12 or not, will ask them tmr. What's the normal price for V12 at PJ area?
By the way how about Bridgestone turanza? Also quote me same price RM190.
How about the production date? How old only consider old stock?

3 months still new... 9 months ok... 12 months and onwards too old normally i don take more than 1 yrs tire...

CC1 is a entry level... u better get Falken 912 at the same price with CC1 if you wanna pay for that...
CC1 have bulging problem, errr... hard to explain NO to CC1... and Sime Astra ???, GY NCT5 , Dunlop D-01 or BS MY-01...
these is not that good lo... D-01 still ok ok only... if you wanna have better grip and longer tire thread there is no such thing...
for me grip is very important especially in wet... things can happen fast and uncontrollable in wet condition if your tire do not have that traction... so better spend a lil more and get safety of your own life or others loves one...
Please look at the price list link (Post #1079) that i gave it to you... RM200 is enough for you to get a few good tires... set ur priority... except grip which is ur priority comfort, noise and handling... rate it 1~3... which is most important and less important... then u can find urself which category of tire are you into Ultra High Performance, High Performance, Performance, or Normal Passenger tire

I read forum for whole night, and saw some feed back for CC1 not bad, so asking for it lo. No idea what to get really.
Will try to ask for V12 or Falken912 tmr.
So what's your first choice if below RM200? First time choosing tyre here cry.gif

fren as i said make ur priorities then look at the price list that i psate the link for you... and GOOGLE for the tire info... do you need me to spoon feed you??? click on the red word that i replied u for the link...

Comfort - Michelin Primacy LC, Yokohama C Drive, Falken 912
Directional UHP tire - Hankook V12, yokohama S Drive , Toyo T1R ,
UHP tire Asymmetric - Michelin PP2

*Directional is a bit noisier than Asymmetric tire, comfort tire is Asymmetric or Symmetric Tires...
Red is over RM200, others is below that
