I'm considering getting one, but I'm worried about the airflow beneath every MBP. After all, plastics are good heat insulators, aren't they?

Other than that, I had a bad experience applying protective skins at the back of my iPhone.

This is my currently protector for my MBP 15" unibody. Got it from our lyn seller for RM270. The quality is damn nice, at the back of the protector, its filled with feather.

Advantage
- Nice looking
- Cool Design
- Consist of 2 layer. 1st layer soft skin, 2nd later hard protector

Disadvantage
- raised up around 3-5 Celsius degree.

I'm going to buy an anti-glare LCD screen protector because the screen is TOO glossy and also a palm guard. still deciding whether buy moshi color match palm guard or see-thru palm guard which will make the palm side glossy.

Youtube review of this protector seems to say the front cannot close properly. Please advise any issue with closing the MBP after installing the cover. Thanks.

Can the invisible shield be removed when needed ? ... I fear to that it will be there forever lol >.< ... I think better to get a sleeve +_+

I used invi shield with all my macbooks and never regret it. It will do the job just fine to protect ur macbook from day to day scratches and dont have to add bulky cases for extra protection. U always have ur backpack to do the extra job protecting from the nasty falls and dent (look for a good quality one like Crumpler etc) plus u can put some of ur work docs or text books in ur backpack as well. Its the process of bringing the macbook in n out from the bag that drew my biggest concern due to the fact that its the only time ur macbook will be most vulnerable to scratches ie from d zip, ur other stuffs in ur bag or desk, drops by some unfortunate users etc..once it sat on the desk or ur workstation..i reckon it wud be pretty much safe...

The invi shield can be removed u just need to give ur macbook a good thorough wipe n it will be as good as new and some says it will turn yellowish after some times but I've been using it for nearly a year now n its still as good as d early days...probably i clean my macbook every now n then (usually twice a week)..so that might kept d shield in good cond...

i've found this seller selling d invi shield at a good price..ZAGG Invisible shield...Rm 110 for the unibody MBP + free postage..so u might want to have a go before their stock finishes...

And last but not least...i never applied d shield on the trackpad coz it will affect the smoothness of ur finger movements..those with sticky hands will find it even worse...so i usually use d extra shield to protect my other small gagdets which could be cut precisely depending on my needs...at least it wont go to waste... icon_rolleyes.gif
