A few weeks ago i've bought a secondhand wii which is a japanese console (Ntsc-J, RVl-01, D2A). I try to run mario kart wii (us), but when i wanted to start the game, the 001 error problem occur. My ffather me told that the problem is my wii can't support usa region games. So is there anything that i could do so that i can play all region games?

I've just sent my wii for a modification to a shop nearby and it took 1-2 weeks to complete. He told me that the modification will allow me to play all region games.
