My advice would be to take the Wii back to the shop. Maybe it's a botched job. That's all I can say.

Like Mudmaniac said, modding is a very sensitive topic, it's walking the grey area between legit uses (i.e. so you don't have three Wiis piled up, one for each region, next to your TV, along that big hole in your bank account) and *cough* *ahem* talk.

I have no intention to mod my Wii at all. Since most of the games I want to play are available in NTSC/UC format and I have no interest in Japanese games for the console (maybe only Taiko no Tatsujin, but I've let that go already).
