my first post, since that defeat.
yeah, its still feel the pain in my heart.. cry.gif . its really hard to swallow this thruth, isnt it. sad.gif
its not because of our 'defeat', but its more because of the refereing errors that cost it... mad.gif
of course, the real person to blame (at least to me) is platini the ref, and those who might have the involve in the conspiracy..(yeah!!)
its like they were trying to deny another all english final, again for this year... and wonder who else that really hate english clubs...
but we need to accept the defeat, just like how we accept the victory..
i do believe, partially its also us (the players) who cost it, by not trying hard to search the 2nd goal.
and think posiitively, at least we can concentrate on the fa cup final, which is just few days after the champions league final.
so, its another year to see JT lift the cup eh...poor him... another year to wait...
all in all, we need to keep the fighting spirit, and carry it to the next season.

about the final, i believe manu have the upper hand to win it. yes, barca is not that good against english teams.
if it was us against manu, then the tie should be 50-50, with the strength in each department is almost equal..

so, 3rd placing this weekend eh. tongue.gif

chill dude, no need to be emotional on small things like this..
and not to take away any credit from ur research, i believe its easier to determine the winner by who scored more, when playing away. smile.gif

Bosingwa withdraws ''thief'' jibe

Chelsea full-back Jose Bosingwa says he now regrets calling referee Tom Henning Ovrebo ''a thief'' and has retracted his comments.

In a statement issued on behalf of the player to the Portuguese media, Bosingwa said: ''We were all very disappointed and frustrated after the game, but I regret describing the referee as a thief. Having had some time to reflect I would like to withdraw those comments.''

Bosingwa had labelled Ovrebo a ''thief'' after the Norwegian's decisions in last night's Champions League exit at the hands of Barcelona.

Andres Iniesta's stoppage-time equaliser saw Barca progress to the final of Europe's premier club competition but Chelsea claimed they could have had four penalties.

Bosingwa originally laid the blame for the Blues' failure to reach their second successive final squarely at the official's door.

''I don't know if he's a referee or a thief,'' he told Portuguese television station RTP. ''I don't have any words to describe that man that was on the pitch.

''We have nothing against Barcelona's goal but the penalties that he didn't give us and his way of managing the game weren't right at all.

''This referee should never referee a game again. What happened was a disgrace. It was a well contested game but the referee came to spoil our game.''

Meanwhile Barca coach Pep Guardiola has praised captain John Terry for his behaviour after last night's semi-final defeat.

Despite Terry's disappointment, he visited the Barcelona dressing room and shook hands with each member of their playing and coaching staff. It was an act of sportsmanship for which the Barca team and staff applauded him out of the room.

''I want to thank John Terry for coming into the dressing room and congratulating us,'' said Guardiola. ''He's a true gentleman.''
1st bolded part: best words to describe wat we felt
2nd bolded part: he is the man! notworthy.gif

about the fa cup final, err, what if they only play defensive from the forst minute, just like when they play man u in semis (and winning by penalty of course) and not to forget, when our 0-0 encounter recently at SB.
thinking back, their defends are quite organised. need to take heavily every chance, including setpieces.
