compare to SSD then yes 5400 is slow, anyhoo i know that upgrading ram wont viod waranty, n if ur CW same as mine SR, there no sticker or nuthing that hold us from changing the hdd, so i think it probably ok? even if somthing goes wrong , can change back the original hdd

at least that what i think biggrin.gif

Well , i always think in notebook case, a good cleaning ethic is better then any protecting screen. just keep a microfiber cloth nearby n thats good enuf. plus, applying screen protector on a rather big surface is hard! at least to me.. i had nightmare applying one on me 22"!

sometimes can just dim or brigthen itself? sound like the power setting stuff.. which dim on certain idle time. check ur power option.

space bar squeaks ? squeaking can comes from material itself or the mechanical parts ( spring underneath ) but really a spanking new vaio that squeak is unheard of! i think need to check, no?

i think some of vaio weakness is speakers , yup i even tested all at sony's . get a headphone or USB powered. bluetooth headphones? brows.gif

aiyo.. ure at Oz maa, not msia. plus u paid good money for it might as well make it worth very penny. unless too bothersome, eg shop far away n so on.

miserably? no.. soft yes.. almost completely lack of bass sweat.gif , but izznt lappy speaker should be that way? even the "good" laptop speaker with tag like "altec lansing" n so forth

that why i almost not using it, i use headphone.

reformat it to ntfs should do the trick as fat32 is limited to 4gb nod.gif , mine now full 8gb dedicated to readyboost, n i must say for rm70 bucks it worth the upgrade! loading games are now faster! rclxms.gif

n i learn also its not all about storage space its about speed too.. so the faster the sdhc spec, the better!

well. ure question is itself , a self explanatory answer! laugh.gif basically its a overclock function to let ur cpu run at higher clock. and what we got at higher clock cpu speed? well i dont think ure need an answer for that very basic computing question smile.gif

do tell us tho, if u use the turbo boost function, how fast will it eat the battery? i havent got a clue.

anyhoo, mine comes with win 7 n i think its all about spec, u can always buy a copy of win 7

but do check out compatibly n software support for ur SR
