me sr55 trying to act cute today, i was in a hurry n din wait for the shutdown to completely shutdown, so i close the lid when it shows "shuting down"

just now when i open it, it say "resuming windows" n guess where it resume? at the beginning process of shutting down!

ya i know the lid setting for shutdown but i duwan to use that, me use it as sleep/hibernation

anyway let me ease ur pain abit..

that was the idea .. kidding

the only way to answer that is to wait for the actual model to come lah.. seriously dont go lurking here if u cannot tahan edy, it make it worse. let talk accessories then.. what will u get after u bought the S. me alrady thinking of some bluetooth headphone..

ya ya me also finding a good sleeve or simpler bag solution , dont get me wrong the one i got for free the vaio bag is supremely high quality but a bit faminine

spend much? how much is average cost of a pair of bluetooth headphone?

the reason i dont set to "to do nothing" is i dont want to accidentally left it until out of batt i tend to forgot things..

anyhoo, what kinda broadband do u use n how the speed, i use bluetooth PAN using Omnia via Maxis Broadband n the speed is.. err.. not as fast using usb cable




the S spec i3 + 330M is more then enuf to dish out performance for ur needs

the i5 spec will easily overkills it

Speed wise then yes the old P8700 still have some grunt (rank 186), but cpu operation n so on ( read from passmark benchies ) the i3 is much more better (rank 149), it is the next gen CPU afterall

unfortunately, i think SR55 are completely out of stock or super rare, unless SR43 which come with gma4500 n same price

congrat! wow! at least 1 new owner from every vaio series!

anyway, i've downloaded the Vaio Gate software originally for the Z, i can run it but only get RSS feedback but cannot add shortcut link into it. any ideas?
