base on wd website regarding the rma, each drive nid to be paid USD7.50 if its more den 6months after purchase date, right? without going to the local distro to rma, how can i send this directly to wd from being charged?
Can sent by yourself bro but need to follow this:WHERE TO SEND IN YOUR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS FOR YOUR RMA
Important:
* Our warehouses do not accept walk-ins. In order to get your product replaced, you must send it in by postal mail.
* Please do not ship a defective hard drive to us without a valid Western Digital RMA number. If you do, our warehouse will return the drive to you.
* Make sure the RMA number is clearly marked on the outside of the box and ship our drive using a traceable carrier (someone who will track your package).

So any how, you still need to pay the shipping charges to SG and must use traceable carrier. Last year my friend sent package to SG using Poslaju need to pay RM38.00. You cannot simply sent to WD in Malaysia.
If you pay USD7.50. Someone will pickup and return back to you. Isn't that easy. I use this method before.
