There was previously a discussion on whether or not to merge.
I guess the decision is out whereby it would be merged due to:

Current trend is ppl are using PDA Phone as opposed to previously PDA stand-alone.
Thus we got the influx on discussion concentrated on PDA Phone related matters, be it software, OS, downright to call functions.

Maybe the others can correct me if I'm wrong.

I've reopened this thread so others can comment and make suggestions.

We'll be making some new subforums there shortly as well.

just wondering..is it going to be permanent or it's still on trial?

It is permanent that it is merged. PDAs and Mobile Phones are a somewhat fused category these days.

What may change is the number of subforums in there.

Anyways, back to the topic,

I suggest that two subforums under the Mobile Phones and PDAs forum, one for Mobile Phones, the other for PDAs. The main area can be only for communication (Telco etc) discussions.

And I also think that the name should be put as Mobile Phones, PDAs and Communications, as there are threads in there talking about networks etc.
