owh, from the phone book, i just select send phonebook data and choose "ic transmission" followed by "send" and "yes". That's it. Oh ya, u can do it via IR transmission too, just select IR transmission instead of ic transmission. whicn is also as fast. thumbup.gif

ouchhhhhhhh...........
how abt receiving contact fr phonebook?? can that be done?

about receiving contact fr phonebook, u can receive via IC transmission if u have another J-phone....coz both phone needs to have the IC transmission thingy.

Another way u can try if u r using Docomo phone is "Datalink" software. I suppose u can download it from docomo website (gotta search a bit though) after that install the software (u'll need to enable Jap language support in ur Windows Xp / Vista) then the software can sync your outlook contacts to the J-phone. I did my SH906iTV using that and I have over 450 contacts each with home, office, fax and mobile phone numbers as well as address, etc.

I cannot guide u much though coz the app is in japanese as well...but be brave to explore and try out all the menu items nod.gif u'll eventually figure out how to sync to it. Believe me. I did it in like 15 mins.

What I did was, since my ex phone is either sony ericsson or nokia, using SE or nokia's software I sync my old phone contacts to outlook (if u don't already use outlook to manage your contacts) thereafter sync my outlook contacts to my docomo phone. Its easy. U can even backup all your docomo phone contacts into a file as well using the Datalink software.

Datalink software is downloadable for free.

Do some search in hardwarezone (SG) forum, I believe there's some guide on how to download and install the datalink.

Hope this helps. Good luck thumbup.gif
