Having a dead serious major problem!
My P905i used V-Sim, but when 1st put V-Sim inside it can recover signal. After went back home 1 hour later signal lost and no longer able to recover signal even after restart nor several times of cpr. I thought my old bypass sim was spoiled so bought a new V-Sim and it works for 1 hour ~.~" my old bypass sim was also unable to recover signal even after countless time of cpr been more than 1 month. But now already change to anti cpr V-Sim but same problem still happen. Is this the phone problem or bypass sim problem or network operator problem? Any1 experiencing any problem similar? Need help here!! Desperate to use P905i more than 1 month!! Using maxis here. |

Help pls,
Every time i do cpr, the signal was recovered at my nokia phone. But once i put the sim card along with V-Sim back in P905i, it straight away signal lost. Did cpr along wit V-Sim together and doesnt work too. my P905i is in GSM/GPRS mode and network search mode is auto, changing these two setting doesnt work also. Any1 know what other possible setting there is? |

QUOTE(takarai @ Dec 5 2009, 04:15 PM) yup, i'm facing the same problem too I m in Bukit Jalil area, using Maxis. are u living in KL? i think the network operator in KL got some modification using maxis o digi o celcom? i'm a hotlink user I made a network fault report to Maxis regarding signal lost in my phone and they did respond to my report. They had their technician check on the signal tower and they said no problem with the network. There are no other jphone user in Bukit Jalil / Sri Petaling area so i cant make further testing to clarify my problem. |

QUOTE(takarai @ Dec 6 2009, 02:52 AM) few days ago i went to old klang road and when i reach my home at cheras, i found that my signal out again and off-on restarting the phone (using anti-CPR bypass sim) but failed at last. so i try CPR the phone for few days since my signal out, now i still facing the total lost of my signal in j-phone Probably this is one of the problem, because I went to Damansara area and my phone can get signal. So need to do few more run to other area to try CPR and hope the signal stay alive in the dead area. I been facing cpr-helpless almost 2 months now.i think maxis might change the way of transmitting their signal therefore useless either off-on or CPR the phone, not sure about that, as i start facing CPR-helpless since few months ago at my working place, now the same problem occur at central of KL area, i suspect is not the problem of the phone or our bypass sim, signal problem in KL is the main cause |

QUOTE(skyng86 @ Dec 13 2009, 10:28 AM) to all KL area Jphone users who met the signal retrieve problem, may follow the below instruction. It's worked with one of the user in KL. she did this using her Nokia 6500. I have tried with Nokia 6030, doesnt seem to work. But have to make few more try i think wit some other phone.Instruction For Sim reset: Use a Nokia if not a Sony Ericsson ( some troublesome sim need use either one ) go time and date auto timing should be on. On it got to network . Set GSM mode only Then from network search, select manual search for other provider rather than the one u r using ... after that switch back to automatic network jump to the main screen , if successful u will see no signal on ur screen if not try doing again. ( this is important ) wait a while network signal will come back. this time make 2-3 calls out , dnt rush in the process. if ok try to answered one of the phone calls. then on and off ur phone . the try make few calls again. then off it switch back to ur japan handphone it will work now . Do try and let me know, since I will be going back to KL soon. |
