bata,
Firstly, thanks for creating this thread! rclxms.gif

In my case, I was using a notebook fan (powered via one of its USB port).

Slightly warm? Looks like you've got a cool one! tongue.gif

BD ISO? That could be around 40GB for high profile titles. Could take me one whole week to download. sweat.gif

I'm considering the HDX1000, but my MKV collection has gone down to less than 10 titles now. Heartbroken and too lazy to re-download. sad.gif

If I still have my MKV collection I could already own a HD media player now.

BD still my main priority, now and future. I even never go to cinemas since last year, I could wait at least another 3 extra months for the BD. I could be only watching this summer's blockbusters in November! biggrin.gif

But can never say 100% BD, more than half of my disc collection is DVD collected for almost 10 years now. Last month I even bought complete all seasons collection of Friends, The X-Files and Everybody Loves Raymond on DVD. So cheap, all three sets cost me less than RM900. thumbup.gif

Well, same reason why I didn't sell my PS3, the more the merrier. Just like to have a HD media player to complete my setup. In the future I plan to have a dedicated CD player with it's own pre/power amp. biggrin.gif

Yes, I'm thinking about ripping my BD collection into ISO format for backup purpose and play them on the HD player be it NMT or others if possible...

instead of ISO (which is the best way if you want the menu intact) you can always rip to BDMV+CERTIFICATE folder, and use the super huge M2TS file inside the STREAM folder.. so it will play just like a MKV.. main movie only..(no start menu etc)
why dun give it a try and rip one of your movies and experiment.. it's hard to explain the BD ISo or BDMV folder unless you tinker around..

I think the HDX should be able to play the M2TS file..

Would it be better to have it in ISO? so next time I can just burn the ISO to BD-R if the price has dropped to a reasonable level.... Do you know if Dvico can play BD ISO (I'm still reading the thread from beginning rclxub.gif )?
