I just got my KS20 on Saturday. Perhaps something to share with enthusiasts here what's in the box

1. Handset
2. Standard Battery
3. Stereo Earpiece
4. USB Cable
5. Charger
6. WM6 & Autosync CD
7. Manual
8. Pouch
9. Stylus

My 2cents after a day of using, pretty phone, light weight, decent camera as I own a Viewty as well. So far it had not hang as of now *touchwood*, like the glossy black, simple design yet classy, PRADA lookalike, pouch not so friendly - will tend to scratch the top edge. Application tend not to close properly. WIFI, HSDPA, many features except GPS, tested wifi, work pretty well, but when there is incoming call, wifi will be disconnected. When phone went idle and to sleep mode, wifi disconnected as well.

I am very new WM6 user, please advice me what essential software that is compatible with WM6 and to install into it? Do advice, cheers!

the max is 2gb but if you apply a microSDHC crack, it'll support any microSDHC cards from 4gb to 8gb.

well, as far as i know, wm6 supposed to support SDHC by default... but some(WM6) confirm doesnt work. there is a patch out there and use google with it.

As i saw what inside LG KS20 has in program, here is what i recommended you to add in.

1) HTC X-button = To really close a app instead of minimizing it. (new user.. take note)
2) PCM Keyboard = iphone like; better with its auto correction.
3) PCM Contact = iphone like contact...
4) FtouchFlo 1.4 = a touch flo driver something like iphone again.
5) Opera browser = since PIE still not my cawan of teh tarik

these is consider essential for me for every new PDA i have. other software will be at ur own preference. smile.gif

for 3rd party software for WM5 and WM6 , visit ipmart-forum.com but u have to register first!!!

so far, i have used KS20 for a few days, it's really a nice phone, stable and picture quality considered better than other 2 megapixel phone. My today screen now uses HTC Home -like interface. and the menu uses SPB MobilShell . very nice!! biggrin.gif

hahaha... i read your review cybermick. not bad..

okay, for those who have need the software for copying the sim contacts to the phone, please goggle for Easyhelper Contact Plus + SMS Backup. its a shareware, so have to buy it.

that software can copy all sim contacts to phone, backup sms and contact.

another program i use is Jeyo Mobile companion, another shareware. This software is to install in the pc. and from there you can copy, edit, delete contacts as well as send sms, backup sms/contact/call history... quite useful software.

The flash is for the Opera 8.65. It works just a nice as you view pages on desktop. Google map is not really useful though but Garmin Mobile XT is. Hehehehe! The dialer, well, its only for show. Nothing much on functionality.

Depending on models and design, WIFI is usually disconnected during phone calls due to FCC/CE compliance considerations. Some PDAphones cannot have Bluetooth and WIFI activated together. Both uses the 2.4GHz band and thus shares the same antenna. Under FCC/CE both wireless link cannot be transmitting together at the same time unless is spaced more than 1 meter away from each transmitting source which is impossible on a PDA phone this size. So some engineers has programmed both to only transmit alternately but the protocol, handling and error handling must be super robust.

nop. dun expect 2-3 days of battery life with voice call of 2 hours.

xphone is smartphone hence better battery life compare to PDA.

Touch has a drawback for slower processor compare to KS20.
