its about marketing wink.gif

treat the internet like the World...opening up a small store somewhere middle of nowhere, how ppl would know that where is the store located? whether does it exist at all? its not that simple and alot of efforts u'll need to put in.

keep up the good work wink.gif

can i be frank with you? im assuming i can because you opened this thread to look for feedback.

first off, i have to start with your layout. Its terrible and it looks cheap. this is already a straight turn off for a lot of your customers and will definitely reflect on your clothes.

second, your clothes themselves arent that nice compared to other online shops. you need to have an eye for fashion. what sells and what doesnt. u cant just simply buy clothes and expect customers to buy them. you have to survey... see what sells what doesnt. nowadays floral tops, high waisted skirts, lace, studs, vintage bags, flats are all in.

what i recommend doing? Ask yourself what you're doing with your blogshop. whats the main concept? what age group is your customers? hire someone to design a new layout for you.

1. promote ur shop everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE at other blog shop or review site. Some like to surf from 1 blogshop to another.

2. ur item's details are BLENDED into the background. I didn't know there are details underneath the items pictures until i accidentally ter-highlight the text when trying to click on the pictures. Please make all the text at least a little visible.

3. girl, the items you're selling are preloved. it will be a little harder to sell compare to those new items. so, patience is what you need.

some advice for you:

1. Where is the details? Price, measurement, condition of your clothes. Especially if you are selling pre-loved items, you will need a lot of good details and descriptions.

2. Blog layout and pictures are ok. I've seen and reviewed a lot of blogs. Malaysian are the worst bloggers, even some top selling blogshops and review blogs have the ugliest layout and design. So don't worry, Malaysian are not really keen on design....(sad to know about that)

3. Networking, marketing and publicize your blogshop. There's 1001 places where you can advertise and promote for free. Just look around other ppl's blogshop and you will see where they promote. Never ever stop marketing even though you have a few customers coming in your shop. Continue to promote for more unique visitors.

If you want to play in the big sea, make sure you drive the big boat and you know how to drive. If not, just play by the shore (means on Lowyat forum la)

Good luck.

Hi there, u just need to do some ads and marketing to promote ur blog, let me assure u, its not ez but once u post ur successful trade list, others will start to know u r a trusted seller and they intend to order from u. Another thing to remind u, u got to just surf around and keep adding ppl in blogspot, facebook and keep informing them the existence of your blog...
effort really pays..wink.gif
