Hi all,
Just to ask opinion or experience, my Exora CFE I believe having major issue with the CVT. I don’t know what is the cause and the car now at SC in Sg Pinang, Penang. Happen on 4 Nov n below is the details:

1. The car had been idle for 3 days at open parking space (this week it been raining daily).
2. 4 Nov during starting and release hand break the car won’t move although the is force from engine (seem the hand break is not release though the indicator already off)
3. Press hard the paddle, then only the car start to move but with a loud sound like something is broken(krakkkkkk....).
4. Initial few hundred meters there is gracing sound (possible from break system) and goes off after pressing break few times.
5. Continue about 25km journey and at Penang bridge CVT indicator pop up. I stop the cars and restart and the CVT indicator goes off but auto cruise alarm pop up.
6. Ignore the alarm and continue journey and at Gurney plaza CVT and Engine alarm pop up and the cars seem to free gear, had to stop by road side.
7. Since it’s a busy stretch I restart the car and cont. driving with CVT, Engine and oil indicator alarm triggering.
8. After 3km the cars become free gears again.
9. Call proton assist and they tow the car to  SC. Until yesterday evening they still didn’t attend my cars....today will go there for details.

Anybody experiences this before or knows what is the issue, but I feels this is major...fell really sad and frustrated, the cars only 1++month and bought in sept 2012 and this issue make me feels regret to buy proton though last week had good experience driving back to terengganu.

The handbrake issue i think that is normal, my wira also like that if the rear brake kena air, seems like the rust make the brake shoe stick to the drum
