primary problem for engine sourced from renault would be always the spareparts, just look at old waja 1.8x using Renault Laguna 1.8 and Savvy.just hoping the next version would have 2.0 / 1.8 engine from petronas or renault ..
unless proton try obtain a license for local manufacturers to produce those parts locally to lower the cost.
