Hi all,
Do anyone encounter cps engine cannot start? I read many forum saying that proton produce lousy fuel pump and always faulty! Happen to my family Exora yesterday during CNY cannot start the engine more than half tank. TomOrrow have to cal insurance towing to proton SC. Anyway, the car only 20k km mileage and 18 months used...
My question is How can new car face this kind of issue! Really no confident of buying proton!
Anyone encounter this before? What is the actual cause of problem? I called SC supervisor and he ask me first question is the rpm gone up to 7km rpm? Basically no answer believe this is one of default in Exora....

In my case, it happens during I'm driving. Then the gas throttle seems not responding (like u running out of gas). I have to stop aside and check out what happens. Fuel still got half tank, battery ok and I even try to push start, but still fails.
At the end, I have to tow it to the nearest SC. The foreman check and confirm fuel sensor problem + fuel lines break
Total costs me about $500++. (Tow $150 + Repair $300++)
