yeah, from the looks and additional gadget, its very nice, with lcd tv, sound system and maybe small fridge, but for me, when your car look that good, im going to be ashame if cannot even go to climb genting smoothly, must struggle the engine, more embarass if perodua viva or avanza can ovetake you smootly. For me, the most important thing for a car is the engine, period..

because for the gadget, i reckon you can find after market are more cheaper than the stock especialy from proton..(cannot forgive them selling thing more higher than autoparts shop, exmple, my wira main light bosch brand, proton sell it rm300++, autoparts with the same bosch ori just almost rm200++)

Dude, every manucfaturer's service center will sell the sparepart higher compare to outside sparepart shops, not only proton la.. You can try to check with toyota service center how much they sell their ori engine oil, and compare it to outside shop's price.

Ya gotta agree with that. Actually Proton parts seems reasonably cheaper than most of the foreign brands. That is why many would say maintenence for a Proton/P2 is relatively cheaper than other cars.

Proton sells the accessory at SRP.
Those shop sell below SRP, that's why you get cheaper.

For my case, I can get 33% below market price for Proton sparepart.

yeah dude, u got what i mean, not only proton but others brands aso the price of the spare part is higher compare autoparts shop, but let stick to the point that i mentioned.. that is the gadget inside exora(exora prestige)... like lcd tv, sound system and small freezer, why exora bother to upgrade all this gadget to impress people but then forget about the engine.. maybe some people like it, up to them, but for me, gadget is second thing, first engine...........period..

I believe the exora prestige is just for show.. proton will never sell it to the public.. it's just to ignite the prospective buyers' interest

yeah..u true man, just to show how cun the design can be modi... but main thing fisrt... u test drive one and u'll know the feeling of the engine...how horrible it was if compare to avanza.. i said this purposely to show that 1.6 isnt enough to take that exora climbing hill.. long dist, no comen....but i would sugget to put 1.8 min for that exora...

I kinda disappointed with the proton exora.. The campro cps 1.6 already not enough power for proton waja and now it put in into the exora. What if the exora have more that 4 adult passenger? Another thing is, the engine mount exactly same like the proton saga BLM. I get shocked when I jack up the car at my SC centre during the inspection a test drive unit. The best thing for exora is the interior. If you wanna get a cheap mpv, get chery eastar mpv. It more worth and it 2.4 mitsubishi engine with mitsubishi gearbox.
