Is the space sparse enough to put most stuff? What about sharp cornering? Is it suitable for undergrad to drive around PJ?

Proton Exora To Be Introduced As 1Malaysia Taxi

KUALA LUMPUR, May 14 (Bernama) -- The Exora Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) produced by Proton Holdings Berhad will be introduced as the 1Malaysia taxi to improve the quality of public transport.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz said the ministry had discussed the matter with Proton on April 6 and felt that the vehicle could provide better comfort to passengers.

"The Exora is expected to be better than the other models of taxis as it has more seating space and bigger space for luggage," he told reporters after handing out 3,000 letters of approval for new individual taxi licenses in the Klang Valley, here Friday.

He said the issuance of budget taxis using several models of vehicles such as the Iswara, Wira, Waja and Saga would be continued until November besides introducing the Persona model as a taxi.
The selecting of a certain vehicle model is not going to "improve" public transport for everyone, honeybuns. I'm guessing the taxi drivers hired to drive these things will just be as rotten as the Iswarapariahs.

I beg to differ. There are more pragmatic and efficient models around which availability is hampered by excess import duties. Keep out as many foreign models, and the car market belongs to Proton, Perodua and Naza in all sectors. A pretty lame excuse to promote a local MPV, if you ask me.

Hi everyone,

I just bought a H-Line Exora this month. It just went for the 1,000 km service. It cost me RM168. They charge RM68 for 'Magnetrap'. Don't know what it is. Does anyone know what it is?

Fred

Added on May 31, 2010, 9:32 amPart of the compulsory accessories is a LokAtoo GPS device. I tried it in KL and found some of the direction wrong. I read in this forum, some of you have managed to install garmin/papago into the gps. I tried but cannot run. I think the lokatoo new software block other gps software. Mine lokatoo A1000 and the software version is 3.20.

I tried change the dp_guider but tak jalan also. The dp_guider.txt is shown below:

Áì·ÈË,ÉϺ£»ªÎÀµç×ÓÓÐÏÞ¹«Ë¾,
HW_GPS_01,BTCOM7:,9600,mp3,,,,

HW_NET_01,127.0.0.1,11001,ͨѶ,GuiderNet,GuiderNet.exe,

I tried the suggestion to put in new shell.ini to run papago:

\\sdmmc\papago\navi74800.exe

So anybody got any solution / suggestions ? I bought a new SD card just to install papago. I just need the correct software to run it in Lokatoo. I want to keep lookatoo because it has full list of all the proton edar service center in M'sia.

Would appreaciate any help.

Fred

As the name suggest it's literally magnet put around oil filter to 'catch' metal fragments. Make sure on your next service the SC remove it & put back on your new oil filter. Simple like removing rubber band & placing it back. They might remove & conveniently forget to put it back.

Very simple... I got a choice of Lokatoo, PPG, Garmin, Mio etc... but personally I prefer PPG X3.
