Apologies if there's a similar thread to this but I've taken a look before asking here.

I've finally decided to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering. And based on my qualifications and financial background, I will only consider three local universities for that purpose.

UTAR
UTP
UNITEN

I've gathered some information about the three universities but wouldn't know which would offer better quality for my money and time and I'd like to seek advice and opinions from the experienced seniors here. icon_question.gif Thanks.

I am not sure if I can enter UTP. But that's what I come up with after narrowing my list. UTP's website states that it's application only open after announcement of matriculation results if I am not mistaken. Maybe I saw wrongly. It's confusing. Anyway I am not pinning high hopes on UTP too. If UTP is out of the question, then it's between UTAR and UNITEN.

As far as I know, Civil Engineering programme from UTP and UNITEN is MQA approved while UTAR is not.

And thanks for your kindness Spitfire smile.gif

About the condition of each uni I am not too sure which is why I would love to hear from the people here blush.gif

What if UTAR don't get approved? Is that possible?

Apply to UNITEN it is easy if you have proper diploma/a-levels/spm results thow but its best you call up the admission people

if u look at the UTAR's faculty members, u will be suprised. the university itself is new, but their teachers staff, go do some research on them.

will be surprised in what way? good or bad?

Thanks Indahjaya. I've actually thought of KLIUC but (I know this sounds stupid) the Kolej part of the name gives me a negative vibe. I'll look more into it and see smile.gif
