hi. noob here. i have been following this thread for some months & very keen to get this phone but i read there are some problems with the phone.
is the latest firmware not stable or there is a bug in the phone?

I read in stanby mode, the clock freezes & only update when you press the keys. Is this fix in the latest firmware?

i hope you sifus can giv some advice before i decide to get one.

btw, i mainly use the phone for texting, wifi & gps. wat apps.would you guys recommend?

thanks aspire. it is the qwerty, solid form factor & multitasking that lure me to this phone. though it is my first qwerty phone,
i think i can do better than touchscreen phone...

i read there is a lot of quality issue with this phone. initially, i was leaning towards 5800 xm but came across e71 & just kinda get hook to it.

well, i'll check it out again & make comparison for both.

Finally, got E71 steel grey zitron set. TS, pls.put me in the list.

I noticed my e71 is making a rattling noise especially when you tap your finger around the camera area.

Any of you guys experience this with your phone?

Though is not a big deal but it is rather annoying to hear this.

The area on the left of the camera & right of the mirror where the metal part is. Not when you snap your camera but if you tap slightly, you may hear the rattling sound.
