hmm my recent prob with my E71 is always havin difficulty sending sms..(i found out aftr upgrading new firmware)..but my instict say tat it NOT might prob by our sweet E71, but my telco..maxis(im prepaid maxis user)..so wat ur opinion guys? anyway im planning to changing my telco frm meksis to celcom..prepaid to postpaid..any gud package frm celcom which is come with unlimited data plan..need advice guys..thanx..

So what if i selected GPRS?? means how much do i have to pay after navigation for around 1 hour??

GPRS rate = 10sen/10KB..i'm not sure how you want to browse the Google Maps..my experienced, is easily to go to 2MB - 3MB when you browse the map for a short while (less than 1 hour)....mean will kena RM20 - RM30..
if you insist of connect via GPRS then you can consider of Telco's Unlimited Data Plan..

dude.. jus use ur garmin.. off ur agps and u r free for life for ur garmin usage.. jus dont come bac here crying y it take so loong to get a lock on.. without agps it will take u a good 15-20 minute.. to start navigating..
google map is jus a map it cant navigate u point by point like garmin does.. the best it can do is show u the route..

google map the software is free
goolge map usage is not free unless u r on wifi - the data rate transfer is a good few mb which is equal to rm0.1kb u calculate lor..

garmin (software) is not free (but u hav ur way to obtain it free and dont ask stupid question on how)
garmin usage is free if u turn off ur agps- where by garmin jus navigate using satellite and ur phone built in gps and garmin map from either msm or mfm.. so u dont need to download map each time u navigate like it google map.. turning on agps will on cost u a few kb to lock on to a tower then the rest of the time it is free..

if u r able to afford e71 u able to afford unlimited plan.. if not jus stick with ur normal usage (cals, sms, mms) and rot

Anyone knows how to use the voice aid for sms? Once I accidentally press something & it read my sms. Just wanna know how to use this function..its kinda cool!!!

highlight the msg that u want it to read and the press the left button and select listen

anyway,i wanna ask anybody knows how to mark messages using shortcut keys? Too much of a hassle click the left soft key and the press mark.

I frequently encounter this problem like "remove memory card and press ok" few times a day when i put it in my pocket.

Then i realize its because there is pressure applied on the screen which cause this. Any solution?

after u marked 1st msg then for the others u just press middle key (shutter key for camera)

Sorry to hear that!

I've never xperienced such thing...but i suggest u sent back for servicing lor..perhaps there could be loose end somewhere or if possible try other card & see whether it could arise from your memory card!
