@TS if u want to get only the melody, i think your ear is good enough.

because it starts with a C based on your example. C6 means C major chord + the 6th note which is A, become CEGA. just want to go deep a bit, but scared people away edi.

Am7 definitely also correct. no hard rules on it, anything can work. music ain't laws.

hello lyn musicians! im a big nodame fan and i REALLY love her "La Suite Moja Moja" song that she played with Prof Auclair at that french music school.
i think its called Moja Moja Kumi Kyoku to be exact.

its such a cool song and i want to play it. problem is i couldnt find the music sheet for that song anywhere, or even hear it on the net like on imeem or wtv.

the only way i can listen to it is by watching the episode when she and her sensei played it.

Hey, often we can see pianist palying in hotel lounge or shopping malls, the songs they play , what u call em ah? jazz? all macam freestyle wan... some no nit read score... the left hand move here n there... macam bossa nova.... anyways what do u call these kind of music ah? and where to get music score.... some i try to find only give melody, and there's no note for left hand (bass clef) sorry noob here

oh yah.. example would be "fly me to the moon" .. those performed in jazz bar very very keng and funky..
