they both suck ass, proof?
does personal usage or tests count? in this case it does. //Moved Q&A Edit: whoops, on a controlled testing, or on same ambient setup, the CM aquagate Max is garbage for its price paid for. my as well keep the extra and get a decent kit or true120 or ifx14, good luck when your pump breaks down in 6 to 9 months from your first usage. QUOTE(bryanyeo87 @ Apr 18 2009, 04:05 AM) erk.... garbage? i dont think so n totally dont agree with u.. im using it now. non oc (stock) temp is around 27-32. OC around 37, is this garbage? my fren got set of rm 1.3k swifttech custom kit water cooling but the temp is almost i can call it garbage. use on q9550 - idle temp (non oc) 50-52. honestly, my fren kinda abit dissapointed man.. i know how he feel for spending 1.3k for the garbage temp. anyway.. there is alot more cpu cooling can beat those v10 n cm aquagate max. im not saying cm aquagate max are powerful coz this is totally rubbish talk. but of coz the temperature gap was not too high. around -2-4 degree celcius. for example the one of the new thermalright can beat the v10 (around -2 degree celcius gap). i read on the custom pc mag. well.. i love to talk at what i read n saw. i dont want to blind ppl out. |

does he get much headroom for OC ?
do u realize that custom OC will give more headrooms for OCing ? it has d power to cool down up to 1000W of power . its not d reading dat important , its d scale of temperature increment before and after OCing . heck my Q6600 went up from 24C to 30C for 50% of OC . (diz is BIOS reading , actual reading +15C) even under load , mine juz run around 40C only . so i got lotsa headrooms for OCing . and i even use for NB cooling as well . and yes CM aquagate Max is considered crappy for WC , ur buying name instead of performance . could get custom WC for like RM700 now . only a bit xtra wif more headrooms for OCing . QUOTE(bryanyeo87 @ Apr 19 2009, 08:20 PM) not sure. but seem all installation is correct. btw.. about the cm aquamax. i dont defending n say it was the powerful wc stuff altho im using it. i admit it. im just tell that this wc not crap. clear?about the temp, first aspect, need to consider the ambient temperature. here around me was abit hotty. im also sweating when gaming. lol!! it was around 35++ something here.. so about my cpu temp, it will almost same or more. no wonder i cant get 30 degree on oc. anyway.. custom wc still the best consider mine. im buying it coz i want to combo with the custom wc . |
