QUOTE(kae7 @ Jun 23 2009, 05:47 PM) lol.. AMOLED is the type of N85's screen..it is the best screen... better than others... only a few phones use this screen..it also energy saver then why alex say 'hopefully not AMOLED'? AMOLED - AMOLED is the acronym for active-matrix organic light-emitting diode, an emerging display technology for use in mobile devices like mobile phones. OLED describes a specific type of ultra thin, ultra bright display technology which doesn't require a backlight and AMOLED refers to the technology behind the addressing of pixels. AMOLED technology continues to make progress towards low-power and low-cost large size (e.g. 40-inch) for applications such as TV. -- more info at >> wikipedia i know N85 screen uses OLED, but didn't know it's got AM infront too |

QUOTE(kae7 @ Jun 23 2009, 06:20 PM) lol.. i think he means that the price of the screen/// the amoled screen is expensive.. so the screen that you replaced isnt amoled i think U know when u don't touch your phone for very long, the phone sorta sleeps right? when i press any button to wake it, the display is like bluish la. it's just for a while though. After that it's ok ady. tomoro i gonna go the shop ask again :/ |

QUOTE(Alexdino @ Jun 27 2009, 02:45 PM) ask e_trade_Pj see whether he can help or not. i reset my phone when i changed the new screen that day. What is your firmware version. maybe try a hard reset see if can fix or not. I still yet to update my phone. nonetheless, the tauke say he will request another screen and change for me i went to nokia shop today to ask for the screen price. Was told it's around 200-250 :/ |
