I'm back. Just FYI about easiest way to update your firm ware is to dial *#0000# then just press option> search update > update.
Local data cost may apply.. P/s After update please reset your firmware once. It runs even faster. Response time is twice faster than the previous version. Especially when loading picture in gallery and update new added music track on music player. Btw I offer my self to become. Or maybe we can make a vote for host? =x Can contact me thru my cell phone 0193655851. Heh.. |

just to update get the FiiO E5 and it will improve the sound quality of your N85 ...
I use this setup N85 > FiiO E5 > Klipsch Custom-1 |

Yes use the *#7370# method.. It will 1st download the update patches that is up to how fast ur telco speed eg: via GPRS/3G/3.5G(HSDPA) connection speed.. 3.5G(HSDPA) down speed around 5 to 8 mins. After the download the actual update takes around 15mins approx.
This latest firmware does make my phone run 2 to 3times faster than the precious firmware. Remember to reset using *#7370#. Before reset my phone run twice as fast as the previous version but after reset almost 3times faster. Very simple theory of mine. When you install certain software or application on your pc it will prompt you to restart your computer before the software can take effect. No harm trying.. Please back up all your data before update and reset. |
