is there a way to disable itunes launch when i plug in phone with usb cable?

hey guys, last night i did a backup of my iphone, after backing up, i restore my iphone to zero.. now i tried syncing up to my same itunes/pc, my apps are not there.. do i seriously need to redownload everything again ? i know i dont need to pay again but seriously ? redownload ?

my sis phone lately can't log into apps store using her ip4. once click in, it keep loading n loading.. so i ask her to sync her phone to itunes on PC n try sign out and in again for her apps store acc.. after tat she can log into apps store.. bt after few days, the probs occur again.

any1 know what probs? her phone is non jbed.. bt is ios4.1
iszit because an old version of ios could lead to error on apps store???

Added on May 4, 2011, 3:40 pmdo u backup previously? but u mention tat u restore from zero? means u wan a fresh phone.. of cz ur apps is not there. unless u haf backup n restore from there. but u can re download those apps that u bought b4 without paying again..

i created a backup before, now im using that backup and sync it to my iphone.. it doesnt show the apps that i have previously on my itunes/pc...

I tried to update my iPhone 4 to 4.3.2 via iTunes, however it failed. I gave up after three attempts.

It has fully downloaded the firmware"There was a provlem downloading the software for the iPhone. The network connection timed out."

Any idea what went wrong?

try download the ipsw file (please get the correct phone and version) and update using shift+restore (update your itunes).

yeap. in itunes, preferences>>devices>>tick (✔) at prevent iDevices from syncing automatically.

did you authorize your computer before syncing?

p/s: if you were to sync your iphone to a newly unsynced and unauthorized computer, a notification window stating that it'll delete the apps in your iphone as it's not authorized will pop up right? haven't you come across this window before?

can explain how to Shift+Restore..im new to iTunes..hehe..currently downloading ur link..hope its work..

Hi..

Need some help with my Iphone 4.

I have 2 computers, one at home and another at the office. I sync my apps and contacts with my home Ms Outlook 2007 computer.

And in the office, i sync my Ms. Outlook 97 calender only.

Problem is, i cannot sync at the office !!!...i only get birthdates !!!...

Is it the phone ??, itunes or using Ms Outlook 97 or having 2 computers ??

Pls help guys

Do you have an Exchange Server for your Outlook Email/Contact/Calendar?

If you do, it's better if you do the Sync via exchange server instead of using the physical computers.

A noobie question :

How do i sync phone to itunes instead of the other way round?

eg. when i plug phone in, itunes will show many different app compare to my phone.

Right hand click on your iPhone and choose Transfer Purchase and it should transfer all your iPhone Apps to the computer.

The Apps in iTunes are bound to be more than your phone coz sometimes, you may not want to sync a particular app to the phone as the app may take too much space etc etc ...
