B's dream goes something like this- a hungry old lady came to the house- mum lets her in- (scene moved to dining area) mum, B, 2 aunts & the maid was there to serve her- old lady gobbled up food one after another and kept asking for more- they continued serving the old lady til mum finally told her that we had none left- old lady let out a bone-chilling laughter before she angrily tried to strangle mum- the 2 aunts and the maid were standing there emotionless- B tried to help mum before the old lady turned on her- that's when old lady revealed herself (she had the typical long fingernails & fangs)- B said there was something greenish coming out from the pontianak's stomach (or was it the mouth) as she pinned B down- B said the pontianak was trying to get into her via the mouth- B woke up from her nightmare. anyway, i told B to forget about it and asked her whether she wanted to be taken to the clinic as she looked rather lethargic and slightly under the weather but she declined. that night as i was playing cod4 (it was nearing 3am), i heard a loud banging but as i was wearing headphone while playing, i couldn't differentiate whether the sound was coming from the game or the door (btw, door was not locked), so i continued playing. about 5 minutes later, dad came running into the room. he told me B was found sprawling in front of the staircase (which was next to my room). when i got out, i was stunned to see B who looked as white as a ghost (she was pale, her lips were purplish blue and her hand was icy cold). she was drifting in and out of consciousness and she had this sound (the nyawa-nyawa ikan breathing sound, if you had personally seen an accident victim who's about to take their last few breath, you would know). we quickly carried B into my parents' room and put her on the bed as dad recited some quranic verses while mum cradled her. i then left the room to look for the car keys and when i returned not long afterward, dad was seen reading to B the last rites. shocked, i screamed at my parents for i what i presumed their lack of action. i told them we need to get her to the hospital asap so that she could be saved but my parents weren't listening as they continue with what they were doing earlier. moments later, i saw B's eyes going up and her mouth opened as she twitched (mum was sobbing even louder now as dad raised his voice as he repeatedly read the quranic verses). then everything went quiet as B stopped moving (except for dad who continued reading albeit a whisper). dad checked the pulse and shook his head. i was left stunned by what had just happened that i stand rooted at the spot for a couple of minutes. dad was still reading when all the sudden we heard someone took a very deep breath and we saw B's eyes moved again. she could barely moved when she asked us where she was. we did not take a chance this time and we drove quickly to the sjmc emergency unit. while at the hospital, B told us she have no memory of what happened (when she knocked on my door/ fall) although she did recall that she feels as if she was floating in the air when she first slept. anyway, the doc/ medical staff who attended to B gave her a clean bill of health which baffled us a bit. when we got home, mum made the call to the ustaz and it seemed that he already knew what had happened (as he and my uncle had been performing "sembahyang hajat" at the time). he chided my mum for not heeding his warning and gave her advice on how to protect ourselves which includes carrying long rusty nails at all times (in our case). when mum enquired on who was behind all this, the ustaz was at first reluctant to tell her but after she promised not to act rashly, he revealed who the person were. he said it was sent by a shaman from bali who was hired by you-know-who and it was a hantu raya not pontianak as what we have thought (although i have reasons to believe it was a pontianak). true enough, that morning when dad was about to leave the house to go to the morning market, the neighbour went on to greet him and enquired on the house (yes, she had the gall to ask my dad on that same very morning and it was totally out of the blue). anyway, dad politely told her we're not moving. just an advice or a method to not get affected by black magic and charms... works well for indo charms... take young bamboo's and sharpen one edge... plant it onto grounds facing away from ur house... help keeps indo charms or asli charms from coming in... but at times if theres something else which is stronger then u might still feel a pinch... learned this method from a famous indonesian bomoh leaving in malaysia... i dun think his crapping or wat coz he is so called a bomoh for many ministers in msia...lolx...and it kinda worked for me..
