I sent my car to HZN last year and have a bad experience with the manager there Lim Yee Du.

I will never and ever send to this service center anymore.

my place will near to Bangi Honda Sales + Service. It is ok to do that at Global Amity Bangi?

No matter which SC, someone will encounter bad experience at that SC.
Best is to ensure we are informed what to change/service by the advisor.

Nobody could tell you where should go
*
I been read somewhere in Peugeot/Citroen forum, they actively sharing info on which Technician is Best on to dealing with, which SC is recommended for warranty purpose, plus they do share the Phone no/emails of the SC Technician so can check on his time availability.

But, its quite a problematic for the Peugeot Engine + electronic + battery issues, so it might be the reason why the forum is quite active there.

Hi. I have a 2004 Honda Odyssey RB1 that is giving me some creaking sounds from the rear suspension. I've had it checked and "repaired" twice at a workshop but no improvement noted.

Any suggestions as to which Honda Service centre is best for diagnostics?

Thanks.

Dont go during weekend at honda sc, especially if need further test, check sound etc. cz weekend mostly they will reappointment you to come back later on weekdays.

I go to Bangi Honda SC. For me quite ok

Hi, i've been searching high and low for a good affordable Honda mechanic to repair the transmission problem of my old Honda Odyssey (2001 if i'm not mistaken). Often jerky transition, gear not locking causing the D indicator to blink.

Tried sending to Honda Service Center in Glenmarie, they said they don't service my version no more, no more spare part is their reasoning. Preferably the Klang Valley.
*
I have watched wheeler dealer in youtube. In one show, there is old conti car, that have jerky, sometimes not drop gear etc

Solution by them is do flushing of transmission oil, change also the transmission oil filter and gasket. Work ok after that.

Global Amity Bangi have very good service! Easy access and smooth sailing. Got snacks, drinks and cinema room. You won't get bored while waiting for your car to finish. Or you can just walk a bit to Warta (like a lot if you are not a fan of walking) to eat or shop. Polite workers, they even explain in details what they are going to do and when will your next service should be. Overall, 4 thumbs up! Including my toes hahahaha!

Most importantly, when they said 1 hour, it's 1 hour sharp that they gave you a call to tell you that your car is ready.
*
Done 40k km service on weekend at Setia Alam Sc, shah alam.

Once received the invoice etc, ask sc to send me to Setia Alam mall. Enjoy there for 2 hours, then get pickup by them to sc, car is done 😎

What car, your car year and mileage for service? Which Sc?

900++ for honda brake pad? WTH!

Even my family ex merz W211 E240 only cost round 250-300 for brake pad original replacement

Anyone has good recommendation on trustworthy and reliable Honda Civic repair centre. my Civic 2011 1.8 has got some problem with front absorber and suspension. I researched on website, most likely is absorber and suspension spoilt. When i drive thru bump, my car front (dashboard and engine area) vibrating so much and like got knocking sound onto my floor. Very painful to hear the sound. Anyone experience this before?

Also, if got such problem, how much does it cost to repair the said problem? Thx for providing advice.

Believes it due to engine n transmission mounting?

If u go to any honda sc, they will check it and give u quotation for replacement of the mounting. Be it engine or transmission or both mounting.

go for your regular mechanic, they can give u which one need for replacement and u can search at any spare part shop. Guess can save u around 20-30% for the price parts

If you're in klang valley, try Tenaga Setia next to federal highway. They have proper multiple story covered car bays sent for repair jobs. I did my windscreen change there and their service is good. Recommended.

thanks, will check that up

Thanks bro

ya, Honda car is famous in gearbox kong issue.

luckily my car till now, it's still don't have any problem yet (touch wood)

now i always bring to outside service

Honda service centre earns nothing in servicing department, they earn in the spare parts whilst servicing existing client's car.

They come out an idea whereby they promised owner certain year of car warranty, from there, they start to earn as much as possible via the owner

smart idea...HONDA, THE POWER OF DREAM
*
if it is CVT, it easy to kong if we accidentally using a different grade/type of gearbox oil against the manufacturer recommendation. make sure to keep using the same spec of GB oil. icon_idea.gif

I keep servicing at SC until my warranty expired. I found it still acceptable for the price range, ie max major service still cost at 600-700rm, normal service is at 200-300rm. Compared to my colleague VW, the major service of 60k km and 120km can up to 3-4k rm.
But of all SC I going, almost all will try to sell option service which can cost extra 30-40% which can also be neglected for the warranty sake.

Those are my warranty Claim so far from SC:
1. Accord driver side mirror driver side - RM1.7k. The issue as it vibrates at high speed, 150kmh above. Initially, SC said it due to bolt to tighten but after test, insist it still vibrate and ask to claim warranty

2. Driveshaft parts - RM1.3k. Mine got oil leaking during the 60k km. Claim easily as SC said its due to parts problem.

not just CVT, ABS also need to be correct if not spoil.

outside shop may not know that and just put in any oil they think ok. I think Honda has their own brand of oil so not sure part shops got carry the same brand or not, if not you have to make sure it's the equivalent oil you are buying and bring to shop give them the oil when they need it so they won't mistake.

Honda has like default 10-15% discounts, toyota parts mark up around 50-400% compared to parts shop selling original parts. the more expensive the parts the higher the markup.

one thing, there are too many of fake oil in our market, it is really difficult to determine whether it is ori or fake oil from the bottles.
another note, my office colleague just spend almost 7k to overhaul his superbike due to fake Motul Engine oil. the oil will dry up pretty quickly and at the time u notice the engine weird behavior, it already gone.

I used to go to Honda Global Amity Bangi. You can just book an appointment via Whatsapp (0195555450) so its easy for me who find it hard to talk to people  sweat.gif

However, they can be full booked because they are so famous now. You need to make an appointment at least a week before. They will remind you the day before and will call you if you didn't show up and book you a new appointment. Pretty good.

But recently I changed to Honda 3S Cheras because its waaaaay closer to my house and there are no people there. They just open on December 2017 so when I arrived at the car park, the service guy already standing beside me. Wah gave me shock leh. And personally, customer service at 3S is better than Global Amity because he explained to me in detail before and after. So will repeat again next service at 3S. Anyway, you can call to book at 3S Cheras (03-90816088) just waze/google. It is near Maktab Polis Diraja batu 9 there.

But of course la coffee machine at Honda SC always broken can only drink plain water blegh.

Location wise, Global Amity got nothing in the area that you can just walk to. 3S have to go up and down the hill a bit to go to mamak or Petron. At least you can walk safely la because it is in residential area. Global Amity one is in industrial area. I want to go to warta near it also have to take a grab because I'm too chicken to cross the road.

But both are comfortable enough to just sit there watch tv while waiting for your car. I've waited 2 hours at most. They show some movie so it is not that boring. Global Amity have a smoking room but just beside kids play room. Not so appropriate. 3S you can just smoke outside.

My wife's City need to do 10K service next month, the 1K service done at KAH puchong, but I feel like their service very cincai, the place very crowded and no free car wash. So I plan to try other SC, any suggestions? Area around Puchong, Subang and PJ.

I also noticed that they require to change "Dust & Pollen Filter" (cost RM103) in 10K service, is that mandatory? Will it affect warranty if I refuse to change?

Did all Honda SC price the same? All SC provide free car wash?

**Sorry, am new to Honda, my only experience with SC is KIA. Some KIA SC do offers discount cards, and all SC provide free car wash.

Thanks.
*
Usually i sending at bangi sc, they provide free car wash after service. And Semenyih sc last time also foc car wash.

That filter need to change as it is under recommended parts during service. If not change then burn your warranty
