even send to spore..not easy..the prosedure is sucks...
u will noe it if u wan to exchange for new..not convenient at all for malaysian @@

sux? to some of us it's better then even rebailing.....
I'll just ask someon to call SG support line, then I'll drive myself to SG 7days later. Settle.

Welcome to a developing country. You're advised to seek service from local service provider to prevent all the troubles from sending it to sg and ship it back.

I advice the opposite -- try not to screw it up by sending to non-authorized service provider.

It's known to me that rebailing has it's limit of repair count & more pricey than sending to SG while x-clamp is not permanent solution.

got but from waht I know the 3RRoD is due to application update failure. not due to GPU problem.

3rrod is general hardware failure ... so ... actually what part is failed n what's the cause ...  ?
*
Most common cause is GPU packaging detachment...

But anything goes wrong to anything contribute to "data processing" in xbox360 will cause 3RRoD. Including drives, power, system software etc.

yeah .. that's very common for falcon n earlier model ... but he's talking abt the jasper set ... that's why i'm interested with the whole story ...

Well, if one so convinced that this is not the case, then someone should check teh secondary error code for the affected console. icon_idea.gif

How long have he played the Xbox360 continuously?
It may be cause by overheat of parts. Most rumors said that one part of the device is most probably cracked when 3ROD appears
.
Since Xbox360 is just like a PC which has a graphic card or etc in it. Its not very shocking to say that technical issues come from electronic parts.

Hohoho, Welcome to the new world of performance.

Go to google & search "nVidia G70 issue" doh.gif

not cracked
but thermal paste melting and causing short circuit
*
Time & time again...Thermal paste won't cause short circuit. The only reason for a thermal paste to seize function is the phase change ability is lost.
